Grand Prize Winner is Off to Africa In
PENTAX Photo Safari Promotion!

PENTAX Canada is very pleased to announce the 15 winners in their online “PENTAX African Photo Safari” promotion.
The Grand Prize winner is Natalie Peles of Salmon Arm, British Columbia. She and 3 other family members or friends will be spending six days at the world famous Kruger National Park and Elephant Plains Game Lodge in South Africa. Ms. Peles will be equipped with PENTAX K10D digital SLR camera, three top-of-the-line PENTAX lenses plus flash, battery grip and accessories.
Second Prize Winner is Daniel Gutoskie of Killaloe, Ontario. He received a PENTAX package consisting of the K10D Digital SLR camera with an smc PENTAX-DA 16-45mm F4.0 ED Lens and Gadget Bag.
Janis Behan of Vancouver, British Columbia, Jessica Prot of Ottawa, Ontario and Ken Adams of Surrey, British Columbia were all third prize winners and each received a K100D Super Digital SLR Body with an smc PENTAX-DA 18-55mm F3.5-5.6 AL Lens and Gadget Bag.
Fourth prize winners Nick Aloe, Claudia Lopez and Roger Bauman of Toronto, Ontario, Line Simard of La Baie, Quebec, Linda Anselmo of Surrey, British Columbia, Paul O’Leary of Saint John, New Brunswick, Jean Boudreau of Cowansville, Quebec, Milene Leclerc of Montreal, Quebec, Andre Lavoie of Ste-Foy, Quebec and Stephane Jacques of Granby, Quebec all received the Optio A30 camera with case.
The contest ran from October 15th to December 15th, 2007 and the draws were held on December 31st, 2007. By all accounts, the promotion was a complete success. Over 128,000 entries to the promotion were received and the media delivered over 8.5 million impressions with over 58,000 clicks.
The on-line promotion helped to build brand awareness, educate consumers about the quality and value of PENTAX photographic equipment and help drive sales at the retail level over the holiday season.
